Freight Brokerage Terms & Legal Disclaimer

Jhutty Tranz Inc. operates strictly as a freight broker and logistics intermediary. Jhutty Tranz Inc. does not operate as a motor carrier and does not own, lease, or operate transportation equipment unless explicitly stated in writing. All transportation services arranged through Jhutty Tranz Inc. are performed by independent third-party motor carriers that are properly registered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and operate under their own authority.

All carriers engaged to transport shipments are independent contractors and are not employees, partners, or agents of Jhutty Tranz Inc. Each motor carrier is solely responsible for the operation of its equipment, compliance with applicable transportation laws and regulations, the conduct of its drivers, and the safe and lawful transportation of freight.
Jhutty Tranz Inc., as a freight broker, shall not be responsible for cargo loss, damage, theft, delay, or any other transportation-related incidents that occur while the shipment is in the custody, control, or possession of the transporting motor carrier or any third party involved in the transportation process. Liability for cargo during transit rests with the motor carrier providing the transportation service and their respective insurance coverage.

All carriers are required to maintain active cargo insurance, liability insurance, and operating authority as required under applicable federal and state regulations. Any claims for cargo loss, damage, or theft must be filed directly with the responsible motor carrier and their insurance provider.
Jhutty Tranz Inc. strictly prohibits double brokering, unauthorized re-brokering, or fraudulent activity. Any carrier that transfers, assigns, or re-brokers a shipment without prior written authorization assumes full liability for any resulting loss, theft, damages, or legal consequences.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jhutty Tranz Inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from transportation services performed by independent carriers or other third parties involved in the logistics process.

By utilizing services arranged through Jhutty Tranz Inc., all parties acknowledge and agree that Jhutty Tranz Inc. acts solely as a broker arranging transportation services and is not the carrier responsible for the physical movement of freight
